INGREDIENTS
  1. 16 oz Lamonica's pizza dough ball

  2. 1/2 pound fresh mozzarella

  3. 1/8 cup fresh basil leaves

  4. 6 oz tomato paste

  5. 12 oz water

  6. 4 cloves minced garlic

  7. 1/4 cup olive oil

  8. 1/4 tsp kosher salt

  9. 1/8 tsp black pepper

RECIPE
  1. ​​​​​​​Thaw Lamonica's Pizza Dough ball according to directions.

  2. Preheat oven to 450° Fahrenheit. Heat garlic in 2 tbsp of olive oil on medium heat for 2-3 minutes to brown.

  3. Add all the tomato paste to the pan with garlic and cook for 30 seconds.  Add the water, salt, and pepper and stir. Cover with lid and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness on flour-dusted surface.

  5. Check on sauce, simmer for longer if sauce is too thin. Remove from heat and coat the pizza dough with sauce.

  6. Cut mozzarella into slices and add 5-6 pieces onto the pizza. Add a few pieces of basil and drizzle with olive oil.

  7. Place pizza in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove when pizza crust is golden brown.

  8. Let rest for 5 minutes after baking, then serve.
